Once again HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has warned that all emails, text messages or voicemail messages indicating you have a tax refund are a scam!
Fraudsters are using emails and text messages to trick people into believing they have a tax rebate, and get details of their accounts and personal details.
HMRC have confirmed that they will only ever inform someone about a tax refund through the post or through their pay via their employer.
